Ready - 2024

 Good Morning, January 1, 2024.

A new year, new beginnings, new journeys and adventures before me, waiting for me to take the steps to create. A fresh start to grow and learn and achieve. 

It's all up to me and how to proceed. Just getting started is always the first step and I have a few ideas circling in my head for how to get going but, for me, it's always better to write it down, sort it out, and make it clear. But start to act now and don't let all the writing and planning stop me from the doing and stepping out.

Hello, 2024. Let's get going.

 Skip to Thursday...today. I missed Wednesday, yesterday. I got up, went to crocheting and then got busy downstairs and never made it back to my workroom upstairs to complete more crochet work. I have an event in Helotes on Saturday and there are a few items I was hoping to complete. I let the time slip through and now there isn't much time left. Prioritize. It won't all get done. Do what you can and what you think is best. Then get ready for the next one.

 It's Tuesday and I am reflecting on yesterday, the first day of the new year 2024. I managed to finish a crochet project, cook up some traditional black-eyed peas and rice with ham and cornbread, go out for a 2 mile walk! I feel pretty good for the first day and here it is the second day.  I think the key word I used was managed and I know I cannot manage it all. I might need to find another word that better describes the way I should be thinking about what I do in the coming weeks.
